Fatal Claw Achievements

Fatal Claw lists 51 Steam achievements at the 1.0 launch on 26 August 2026. This page gives the full confirmed list with official Steam names sourced from Exophase and Steam Hunters, plus guidance on how to approach each type. Expansions added Codex entries and extra trophies over Early Access, which is why older articles that still say a much smaller number are out of date.

If you previously saw a fan list of 28 titles, ignore it. That figure is not the Steam 1.0 total.

How to track achievements

• Steam overlay. Open it during play (Shift+Tab). Hidden or locked tiles still exist on Steam’s side; some descriptions only appear after unlock.
• Codex. Official expansion notes say new Codex entries shipped with new achievements. When regions were added, the Codex grew with it.
• Patches. v0.9.269 fixed certain achievements unlocking automatically at the start of a game. If a trophy pops on a brand-new file before you do anything, update, then start a fresh save.

Achievement types

Achievements fall into five types:

• Reach — enter a named region or use a named structure
• Defeat — beat a named boss or enemy
• Collect — pick up a named item or material
• Deliver — give an item to an NPC or complete an NPC request
• Special — use a specific object, complete a sequence, or reach an ending state

How to approach achievement hunting

Boss achievements (Weed Control, Too Slow…, Pull Yourself Together, Let There Be Light, Defeat Sommar, Defeat Cain, Defeat Sorron, Defeat Infected Carbo) — beat the named enemy. Route using the Boss Order guide.

Reach achievements (Gale Warning, Golden Castle, Black Canyon, Higasha Tundra, Jayma’s Dungeon, Kannir Belt, Aphotic Marsh) — enter the named region. Follow the Full Walkthrough.

Collect and deliver (Destroyed Legacy, For a Great Cause, Iedart’s Research, Golden Claw, etc.) — track on Carox or with NPCs. Iedart takes Aisare’s Stone Shards; Max takes Archive information.

Special and ending (Wheel of Fate, Memory Fragments, Cure Three, Purify Four, etc.) — these are post-credits achievements. See the Endings and New Game Plus pages for the systems that govern them. Most require extra cycles.

Missable achievements

Missable content includes ending-sensitive tiles, NPC-specific cures, and purification chains that require specific cycle decisions. Use the Steam overlay to check locked descriptions. The Stone of Narrative is the in-game tracker for mutually exclusive objectives.
